Kaleidoscope Film Distribution and its home distribution arm will release the live capture on home media just two months after the film premieres in cinemas. Heatherswas filmed last year at its London home, starring its "homecoming" revival cast featuring Ailsa Davidson, Simon Gordon, and Maddison Firth. UK exclusive special features include a Sing-Along Version (Blu-Ray exclusive), film poster, behind the scenes at The Other Palace and cast & crew extended interviews.

The cast is led by Carrie Hope Fletcher as Veronica Sawyer, who is set to continue the role as the show transfers into the West End. Carrie Hope Fletcher joined the cast fresh from winning the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her stint as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (UK Tour). Carrie previously played Éponine in Les Misérables in the West End for three years. She has also released her debut album When The Curtain Falls. The release will include a special 10-minute ‘ Behind The Scenes at The Other Palace’ bonus feature. There’s no surprise that Heathers The Musical has been met by repeated standing ovations and elated whoops and cheers.

The leading cast of five are nothing short of phenomenal, led by the truly enchanting Carrie Hope Fletcher whose acting prowess is easily matched in voice. Jamie Muscato embodies Christian Slater’s darkly brooding JD, and pulls off a character adored, hated and feared in equal measure. Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment has announced that the award-winning West End hit HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL will be streaming exclusively on Icon Film Channel from 1st May 2023.

It would have been nice to have had lyrics to the songs or an easy way to get to the songs but this is not included in the DVD. The scene selection doesn't even take you to a specific song, it seems to be all very random. There isn't even a scene that starts at the start of Act 2. I can work out which song is in which scene as I've seen it so many times but it would've been nice to have mostly a song per scene for easy viewing.It’s this story that has the biggest impact. The songs underpin a tale of hatred, vengeance, love, pain, beauty and darkness – a tale that rings true across many corners of society. The filmed musical will be distributed through a partnership between Village Roadshow Pictures and Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment. Further distribution plans are expected to follow.
